HOBOKEN, NJ — It's no surprise that unexpected fireworks have riled residents of New York City, Jersey City, and Hoboken over the past few years, including some that came around the 9/11 anniversary in past years.

Tonight, a new round of fireworks is expected — these on the Hoboken waterfront for the annual Propelify innovation festival taking place uptown.

Inventors, tech companies, state agencies, and more have been sharing their products and ideas on the city's north waterfront all day, and enjoying speeches and demonstrations.
