Hoboken Cardshark Places 34th In World Series Of Poker

Hoboken poker players take note. If Jake Toole shows up at your home game, it might be time to cash in your chips while you’re ahead.

On Monday, Toole, a Hoboken resident, finished in 34th place at the 46th Annual “World Series of Poker” event, held at Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

For his win, Toole will collect $211,821.

According to WSOP records, Toole – a Penn State University graduate - has earned a total of $400,151 from WSOP and circuit tournaments in his career.

This year’s tournament – which attracts some of the most talented and high profile poker players in the world – is being held at Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
