The Lime Hero program has garnered $1,500 from more than 200 riders. Donations will aid the Hoboken Community Center.

HOBOKEN, NJ — The Hoboken Community Center recently got a welcome boost from the “Lime Hero” program.
According to Lime, the only approved company participating in the city’s pilot e-scooter program, its Lime Hero program allows people to “round up” the cost of their rides and donate the remaining amount to the Hoboken Community Center (HCC).
As of mid-October, the program has garnered $1,500 from more than 200 riders, Lime reported.

“Like Lime, our riders recognize the importance of community, which is why we’re excited to present their donations through our Lime Hero program to the Hoboken Community Center,” said Phil Jones, a senior executive at Lime.
“We continue to be amazed by how quickly Hobokenites have adopted Lime in their daily lives, and now, by their generosity and support for their neighbors at HCC,” Jones added.
