Hoboken FD Aids 8 People Stranded In Boat On Hudson River
The 8 mariners became "stranded" in the waters near Pier 13 in Hoboken, officials said.
HOBOKEN, NJ — The Hoboken Fire Department came to the aid of eight people that got stranded in a boat on the Hudson River Sunday evening near Pier 13, authorities said.
According to the Hoboken Fire Department, Capt. Montoto and the HFD Marine 1 craft rescued the stranded mariners with the help of partners (JCFD and NHRFR) in the NJ Regional Fireboat Task Force and the U.S. Coast Guard.
No additional information about the incident was immediately available.
