Hoboken Halloween Race Will Scare Up Funds For Shelter

The annual, in-costume Hoboken Halloween 5K and Scary Scurry Kids' Run will return for 2015 at Pier A Park.

On Halloween, the ghouls run for charity in Hoboken.

The annual Hoboken Halloween 5K and Scary Scurry Kids’ Run will return for 2015 on Saturday, Oct. 31, beginning at 10 a.m. in Pier A Park.

The “fast and flat” USATF-certified 5K race runs along the Hoboken waterfront and will feature awards for male and female winners, age group winners and prizes for the best adult costumes, according to a release.

The 5K begins at 10 a.m., the kids’ run begins at 11 a.m., and the costume and race awards ceremony takes place at 11:15 a.m.

An after-party will take place at the Wicked Wolf Tavern across from Pier A.

Raised funds will benefit the Hoboken Shelter.
