The Hoboken High boys basketball team continued its torrid play as they stormed past North Arlington 89-47 in the first round of the NJSIAA North 2, Group I playoffs Tuesday night.
The eighth-seeded Red Wings (16-11) put the game out of reach right from the start, scoring the first 11 points of the night.
Five players scored in double figures for Hoboken led by Robert Cabrera’s 17 points. Carlos Garcia scored 16 points. Juinors Abe Groomes and Luis Santiago added 14 points apiece while Spencer Perez scored 11.

The Red Wings hit 11 3-pointers in the win, their ninth in the last 10 games.
Tyler Krychkowski led North Arlington (7-16) with 14 points and Ralf Gwiszcz added 10 points in defeat.

Hoboken will play top-seeded Dayton in the second round on Thursday.
