Hoboken to Hold First 'Take Back the Night' Event
Community groups bring awareness to sexual and domestic violence.

A consortium of community groups will host Hoboken’s first “Take Back the Night” event, a national movement that focuses on eliminating sexual and domestic violence in all forms.
The event will take place on the Davis Lawn of Stevens Institute of Technology campus, on Tuesday, April 21, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Planned activities include a march to Pier A, where participants will host a candlelight vigil and hear speeches from Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer and two sexual violence survivors, and hear music from the Stevens’ President’s Ensemble.
