Hoboken Police: Missing Teen Found In Jersey City (UPDATED)

"She was last seen in Jersey City at the residence of a juvenile male friend," Hoboken police stated.

HOBOKEN, NJ — UPDATE: According to the Hoboken Police Department, around 2 p.m. on Monday, Kasandra Baez, who was reported missing, was located in the area of Jersey City. She is currently with family and Jersey City police officers. The circumstances as to her whereabouts are currently being investigated. At this time no other information is available. Hoboken police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing teen, authorities announced Monday.

According to the Hoboken Police Department, Kasandra Baez, 17, was reported missing on Thursday, March 29.

“She was last seen on March 29 in Jersey City at the residence of a juvenile male friend,” Hoboken police stated. “She has not been seen since.”

“[Baez] is known to frequent the Jersey City area in the company of her juvenile male friend. Hoboken detectives have been searching for the juvenile from the moment she was reported missing and have been assisted by members of the Jersey City Police Department. As of [Monday, April 2], the juvenile has not been located and efforts to locate her continue day and night.”

Baez is Hispanic, 5 feet 1 inch, 125 pounds, and has blonde hair, brown eyes and a fair skin complexion. She has a stud nose ring on her right nostril, authorities said.
