Hoboken Police Are Seeking Multiple Suspects: Face Slashing, Video Game Thieves, Credit Card Fraud

The Hoboken Police Department is asking for the public’s help with identifying and locating multiple, at-large suspects.

SLASHED IN FACE

The HPD is investigating an aggravated assault with a weapon which occurred at approximately 2:28 a.m. on April 4.

According to police, a male slashed the victim with an edged weapon across the face, leaving a deep, three to four-inch laceration.

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male with a dark complexion, approximately 25 to 30-years-old, 5 foot 5 inches, with a short-cropped haircut, wearing a black leather jacket with patches, blue jeans and red and white sneakers. [See photo 1 above]

VIDEO GAME THIEVES

Hoboken police are seeking two fraud suspects who allegedly used stolen credit cards to buy more than $3,800 worth of video game systems and other goods.

According to police, a male and a female suspect made the purchases at Kohls, Gamestop, TJ Maxx and Sears locations throughout the state, including Hoboken, using a stolen identity.

The HPD is seeking both suspects for identity theft, forgery and fraudulent use of credit cards.

Police described the first suspect as a black male in his early-to-mid 30’s, from 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet with a stocky build, full beard, and wearing a dark-colored winter coat, grey knitted hat and tan cargo pants. [See photo 2 above]

Police described the second suspect as a black or Hispanic woman in her early-to-mid 30’s, around 5 feet 7 inches with a medium build, and wearing dark-rimmed glasses, a grey embroidered hat, grey scarf, black winter coat with a hood and suede, Ugg-style boots. [See photo 2 above]

CREDIT CARD FRAUD

Hoboken police are investigating the fraudulent use of a credit card in Springfield Township.

According to the victim, a Hoboken resident, he still is in possession of the credit card used in the crime.

Police are seeking the suspect depicted in a surveillance photo in connection with the incident. [See photo 3 above]
