Hoboken Preschoolers Make Donation Bags For In-Need Residents

It was a way to help people with hungry eyes, bellies and hearts, organizers said.

HOBOKEN, NJ — It was a way to help people with hungry eyes, bellies and hearts.

A group of 49 preschool students at Mustard Seed School and All Saints School in Hoboken recently came together for a joint service project, making cards and fixing donation bags for the guests at the St. Matthew Trinity lunch program.

According to a statement from Mustard Seed School:

“The bags and cards were created to bring beauty to the eyes, the snacks are for the bellies, and the fellowship at the lunch program is to help the hearts. The students had a wonderful time together. It was a great collaboration.”
