Hoboken Redwings Head To State Championships In The Meadowlands
Gates open at 4 p.m. at MetLife Stadium.
The Hoboken Redwings are heading to the Meadowlands for a chance to win the group 1 north 1 state football championship against Roselle Park.
The team is seeking its ninth state title in program history.
Today's drizzle and the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy haven't dampened the team's enthusiasm and drive to win, The Jersey Journal reports.

"To be able to get this far and have a chance to maybe win this game, I think it would do a lot for the town and for people's morale," Redwings coach Lou Taglieri told The Jersey Journal.
Tickets are $9 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. Parking at MetLife Stadium is $10.00 and the parking lot opens at 3:00 p.m. Gates open at 4:00 p.m.
