Hoboken School Goes Out-Of-Focus

Connors Elementary will no longer be designated as a "Focus School" due to improvements in test scores and RAC feedback.

As of July 1, the school will join 18 others in New Jersey that shed the federal label of “Focus School” due to improved test scores, administrative reviews and other criteria.

According to the Hoboken Board of Education website, the school met 100 percent of their performance targets in Student Achievement and Student Growth on NJASK 2013-14, making it the only school in the district to reach that achievement.
