HOBOKEN, NJ — Forbes has named Garden State native Brian Donohue among its “30 Under 30” list of the “brightest young entrepreneurs, innovators and game changers.

Donohue, a recent graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, is the former CEO of Instapaper, a web service that allows users to save internet content so that it can be read later on tablets, computers and smartphones.

Donohue told a reporter at his alma mater that the decision to sell the company to Pinterest in August wasn’t an easy one. “That’s not the case here, and if we thought it was, we probably wouldn’t have gone through with it,” he said.
