Hoboken Road Paving (And Digger Show For Toddlers) Continues: See Which Streets Are Closed
Hoboken continues to repave 82 blocks of road this year. Here's where they're going next.
HOBOKEN, NJ — If you like your roads smooth — or you have a toddler who likes watching diggers in action —Hoboken's the place to be.
Last month, Hoboken began resurfacing 82 blocks of roads. It's part of the city’s 2022 Resurfacing and Complete Streets Program.
They first repaved Hudson Street (see photos here), and last week, they repaved 14th Street (see photos above).

Tuesday morning, they were paving Second Street near the waterfront.

“Upgrading Hoboken’s roadway infrastructure, with an emphasis on Vision Zero improvements, continue to be a priority,” said Mayor Ravi Bhalla recently. “Our aggressive repaving schedule will make our streets safer and more accessible for all modes of transportation."
