Hoboken Supermarket Workers Featured On Cheerios Box

HOBOKEN, NJ — If you’re wondering how a pair of Hoboken supermarket employees ended up on a Cheerios box, the story is pretty simple… they’re super fundraisers.

Antoinette Fabrizio of Secaucus and Sean O’Sullivan of Dumont, who both work at the ShopRite of Hoboken, were recently featured on a special edition Cheerios box, recognizing their fundraising efforts as part of the annual ShopRite Partners In Caring Cheerios Contest.

During the campaign, ShopRite associates across six states raised funds to support regional food banks and hunger-relief programs in communities served by ShopRite stores, the company stated.

ShopRite of Hoboken - which raised $17,115 during this year’s campaign - was awarded $500 to donate to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, the company stated.

In addition to the ShopRite of Hoboken, three other Inserra Supermarkets stores were also recognized for their fundraising efforts.
