On Friday evening, Hoboken Police Chief Ken Ferrante posted the following message on Twitter:

“Truly one of the toughest, and thankless, jobs. I’m sure he will appreciate the recognition.”
Thank you for a great job by our @CityofHoboken Traffic Control Officers who are assigned to @HobokenPD . In the past 9 days, they dealt with WMBs, 495 project, schools opening and Italian Festival and did a great job moving traffic.
