UPDATED Two Toddlers And Four Adults Injured In Hoboken Car Crash
Two drivers, two pedestrian moms, and their two kids were injured in a Hoboken car crash on Wednesday afternoon. All had minor injuries.

HOBOKEN, NJ —A total of four adults and two toddlers suffered minor injuries on Wednesday afternoon when two cars crashed near Hoboken University Medical Center, a spokesman for the city said. Two of the adults were mothers who were walking nearby with their kids, but none of the injuries was serious.
City spokesman Vijay Chaudhuri said Wednesday evening that the other two injured were the drivers of the cars that crashed near Clinton and Third streets.

Wednesday afternoon, a car was traveling east on Third Street and one was traveling north on Clinton. One driver was male, one female.
The cars crashed, and then one crashed into a pole. Two mothers were struck while walking on Third Street. One was walking with her 2-year-old and the other had an 18-month-old. The impact of the crash caused the children to be thrown to the ground, but neither was struck by the cars.

The 2-year-old suffered a bruise to the head. Both mothers complained of back pain and minor scrapes and bruises.
By rush hour shortly around 5 p.m., car traffic was being routed away from the 300 block of Clinton Street; however, police were allowing the 126 bus to head up Clinton Street, terminating at the Port Authority terminal in New York City. Police Chief Ken Ferrante posted several updates on his Twitter feed. At 5:07 p.m., he said traffic was back to normal.
The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
