HOBOKEN, NJ — A Jersey City man who allegedly entered a woman's apartment and caused more than $2,000 of damage to a Hoboken business surrendered himself to police last week.

According to the Hoboken Police Department, officers responded to the area of 6th and Grand streets on July 8 after receiving a report about a “suspicious person” that was spotted on the rooftop of a building. When officers arrived on the scene, they caught sight of a man on a roof, who “appeared to be hiding from their view.”

The officers searched the area, but didn’t find the man. However, they were able to get a physical description from a resident of the building who had an encounter with him.
