Hoboken's Jet.com Purchases Nebraska Online Furniture Retailer
The Hoboken-based online retail giant will keep the company's 400 workers, a report says.

Hoboken, NJ – There’s one sure-fire way to make your business larger… purchase another one.
Hoboken-based online giant Jet.com – which made headlines for its massive, multi-million funding influxes last year – announced on Friday that it had purchased Hayneedle, a Nebraska-based online furniture retailer.
Hayneedle will operate as a subsidiary of Jet.com and its 400 employees will keep their jobs, according to Omaha.com.

“When we first met, we knew right away it would be an ideal fit for both companies,” said Marc Lore, Jet’s founder, chairman and chief executive told The World Herald.
Jet.com currently has about 300 employees at its Hoboken headquarters, in addition to more than 400 at a call center in Salt Lake City and about 500 more at warehouses in Nevada, Kansas and New Jersey, Omaha.com stated.
