Hudson County Man Charged With Sexual Assault Of 11-Year-Old Girl
A local man was charged with sexually assaulting a 11-year-old girl whom he knew, the Hudson County Prosecutor's office said.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — An 18-year-old from North Bergen faces criminal charges linked to child sex abuse material and an 11-year-old girl whom he knew, prosecutors said Friday.
Brandon Majano, 18, was arrested Thursday on charges of sexual assault by contact, possession of child sex abuse material and endangering the welfare of a child, the Hudson County Prosecutor's office said Friday.
Majano was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s office in Secaucus and taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance.

The state filed a detention motion, tentatively scheduled to be heard on Wednesday, July 12.
Prosecutor Suarez credited the Special Victims Unit with the investigation and arrest, with
assistance from the Union City Police Department.
