Hudson County Remembers 3 Officers Killed In Traffic Incidents
Hudson County authorities dedicated a new vehicle to Christopher Robateau of the JCPD, and Mark Zeitounian and John Kamel of the UCPD.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — Authorities in Hudson County gave a well-deserved sign of thanks to three late police officers on Monday morning, dedicating a new vehicle in their names during a touching ceremony in Jersey City.
The new vehicle – which will serve the newly formed Hudson County Regional Collision Unit – was dedicated to Lt. Christopher Robateau of the Jersey City Police Department and Lt. Mark Zeitounian and Police Officer John Kamel of the Union City Police Department.
The three officers tragically lost their lives last year in separate, traffic-related incidents. Family and friends for each were present at Monday’s ceremony, held in Liberty State Park.
