Hudson County Survivor Dogs Still Available For Adoption: Liberty Humane Society

The two dogs survived a blizzard and gunshots together in Liberty State Park in late January.

While the Liberty Humane Society adopted out a commendable 93 animals during a recent promotion, its two most-famous residents are still available.

Braveheart and Faithful, two dogs that survived the blizzard and a gunshot together in Liberty State Park in late January, are still looking for permanent homes, shelter staff stated.

“Braveheart and Faithful have made it this far by remaining together,” Executive Director Irene Borngraeber said. “In honor of everything these two brothers have been through and our commitment to seeing them adopted into one home, we will continue to waive Braveheart and Faithful’s adoption fees.”
