Learn-Impress-Discover-Release

Learn! Impress! Discover! Release!

"Let your message be powerful and clear" demands the marketing book I'm reading.
So I experiment with words, and the effect they can have on people.
People I'm looking to become my students, so I can share with them this incredible thing they can do, as soon as they believe they can do it.

  • Learn: the Secrets of da Vinci's Technique
  • Impress: Your Friends and Family
  • Discover: Your Inner Talent
  • Release: the Kracken?
Seriously, when people finally do understand the technique and the secrets, it does something to them.
Should I warn my potential students what the effect learning about art will have on them?

How they will see things in different ways...how they will learn life lessons as well as what Alizarin Crimson looks like?

How learning to paint opens their mind, their eyes, their appreciation for the smallest things in life. Develops passion, patience, persistence?

And most importantly-how they will feel when they finally sign the work of art they've created, the feeling of pride that they will have forever.

Learn.  Impress.  Discover.

...Paint.

-Sheri

Artist Sheri Alimonda loves that moment when the student that insists they "can't draw a straight line" sits up and says-"I can't believe I painted this."
