Liberty Humane To Host Free Rabies Clinic In Jersey City
The Liberty Humane Society will host a free rabies vaccination clinic on May 27 for Jersey City residents.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — The Liberty Humane Society will host a rabies vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 27. Jersey City residents must show proof of current license or have their dog licensed at the clinic to receive the vaccination, LHS staff stated.
According to the Liberty Humane Society:
“Rabies vaccines will be administered free-of-charge. Licenses range between $8 and $50 depending on the length of the license (1 year or 3 years) and whether or not the dog has been spayed or neutered.”

Distemper vaccines will be available for an additional $20. Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers, LHS staff stated.
