Train In Vain: Lost Dog Takes Ruff Ride On NJ Transit From Essex County To Hoboken
This canine commuter followed a passenger onto the train in South Orange and rode across New Jersey to Hoboken. Do you know the owner?

NORTH JERSEY, NJ — A commuting canine had a ruff ride on a NJ Transit train Thursday morning when he followed a passenger inside at South Mountain Station in South Orange, and rode all the way to Hoboken.
In Hoboken, NJ Transit police took command of the pup and are now trying to find his or her owner.
Of the white Maltese-looking mutt, they wrote on social media, "Do you know who I am? Help us get this pup home. This dog boarded a NJ Transit train at Mountain Station around 7:52 a.m. today [Thursday]. He was following an unrelated commuter and rode to Hoboken Terminal. NJTPD District 3 officers inquired with agencies around Mountain Station."
