Madison Pizza Lab Proprietor Reveals When New Eatery Will Open In Hoboken

HOBOKEN, NJ — Among a slew of new restaurants and businesses preparing to open their doors in the coming months in Hoboken, Madison Pizza Lab is one that has generated some buzz.

The new eatery will take the place of the short-lived but popular Verazza Pizza, on a quaint section of Newark Street a block from City Hall.

Experienced restaurateur David Carney, who runs Madison Bar & Grill on Fourteenth Street, is behind the new venture.

Carney said Tuesday that the restaurant will likely open in January.

The restaurant gave a preview of its product over the weekend, posting video of their part in Saturday's Hoboken Pizza Fest for charity. Said the store on Facebook, "We're almost there."
