Man, 25, Found Stabbed To Death In Hudson County
Police responded early Sunday morning to a street in West New York where they found a 25-year-old man stabbed to death.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ —A 25-year-old man was discovered stabbed to death early Sunday morning on a street in West New York, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said.
Authorities say the West New York Police Department responded to the area of 6414 Dewey Ave. at 5:15 a.m. Sunday on a report of an injured male.
They found an unresponsive man — identified later as William Chipix Simon, 25, of that town — with an apparent stab wound to his upper torso.

Simon was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:30 a.m., the prosecutor's office said.
The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.

No arrests had been announced as of this writing.
The area is about 10 blocks west of the Hudson River waterfront, near the town's border with Guttenberg.
The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit is investigating the case with assistance from the West New York Police Department.
