Man Allegedly Exposes Himself To Kids In Hoboken's Pier A Park

The 43-year-old man called out for young children to watch, police say.

Hoboken police arrested a 43-year-old Jersey City man for allegedly exposing himself to several young children in Pier A Park off Sinatra Drive on Friday afternoon.

Police are charging that Anthony Monteleone called out several times for children to watch him as he exposed himself in the park.

The children ranged in age from two to five-years-old, police stated.

When officers arrived on the scene, they met with witnesses who described the suspect and his alleged actions. Officers then located Monteleone at the eastern end of the park and immediately identified him from past police encounters in Hoboken.

Monteleone immediately apologized when confronted by officers at the scene, police said.

He was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of children and lewdness.

While being processed for the above charges, Monteleone damaged the wall in the processing room and was also charged with criminal mischief.
