Man Charged With Robbery At Hoboken CVS On Thanksgiving
The suspect was wanted in New York for robbery as well, the Hoboken police said.
HOBOKEN, NJ — A Bronx resident was charged with robbery after an incident at the downtown Hoboken CVS on Thanksgiving, police said.

Police arrested Erick Henderson, 27, from the Bronx, last Thursday night and charged him with: robbery, obstruction of the administration of the law, fugitive from justice, and refusal to submit to fingerprinting, they said.
Police say that around 9:18 p.m. last Thursday, officers Nicholas Protopapadakis and Jessica Arebalo responded to CVS at 59 Washington St. on a reported shoplifting. When they got there, the suspect had left.

An employee told police that after CVS staff tried to stop a man from shoplifting, the man brandished a knife.
Police Officer Enrico Gnassi began to canvas the surrounding area and found a male matching the description walking down into the PATH train station, a few blocks away. Officer Gnassi, along with Police Officer James Barro, ordered the man to stop, police said. Police said the man continued to walk.
Gnassi and Barbro found a bag with proceeds from the robbery, police said.
Det. Sgt. Jonathan Mecka said the suspect had taken approximately $330 of items.
The men found the suspect in the train station and arrested him. They learned he was wanted in New York for robbery, police said.
Police did not find a knife in his possession when they arrested him, they said.
Police say that while processing Henderson, he refused to be fingerprinted and photographed, so he was charged with refusal. He was taken to the Hudson County jail.
