Man Punches Cop, EMT At Hoboken Hospital: Police
A Union City man allegedly punched an EMT in the chest and a police officer in the face at Hoboken University Medical Center.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Authorities charged a Union City man with aggravated assault after he allegedly punched an EMT in the chest and a Hoboken police officer in the face at Hoboken University Medical Center on Saturday morning.
According to the Hoboken Police Department, Juan Flores, 29, was brought to the hospital around 3:35 a.m. after being found “passed out from intoxication in Union City.”
After arriving at the hospital, Flores allegedly became “combative” with medical personnel who tried to help him. At one point, he punched a female EMT in the chest, police said.

When a Hoboken police officer attempted to intervene and calm him down, Flores punched him in the face, authorities said.
After a brief struggle, several police officers were able to place Flores under control and restrain him. He was later charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest, then transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, police said.
