Man Shot In Hoboken Overnight
A 20-year-old man was shot in Hoboken with a .45 caliber handgun just before midnight on Sunday, police said.

HOBOKEN, NJ — A 20-year-old man was hospitalized after he was shot in Hoboken just before midnight on Sunday, the Hoboken police said Monday. They did not have a suspect as of Monday morning.
Police said that they responded to a report of a shooting at Fourth and Jackson streets.

Police said a preliminary investigation showed that the shooter exited a vehicle. The victim turned and faced the shooter, who fired a shot and struck him in the abdomen.
Police officers Kyle Seper, Jonathan Figueroa, and Aaron Font responded to the victim and provided aid, along with the Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corp., police said.

The victim, 20 years old, was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition in the ICU, police said.
The weapon believed to be used was a 45-caliber handgun.
