Man Suffers ‘Massive Trauma’ After Fall Out Hoboken Window: PD
The victim locked himself in the bedroom of a relative's apartment prior to his fall, Hoboken police said.

HOBOKEN, NJ — A man suffered “massive trauma” after falling out of a 5th floor window on Marshall Drive in Hoboken last weekend, authorities said.
According to the Hoboken Police Department, a pair of officers responded to the 400-block of Marshall Drive around 10:44 p.m. on July 21 after receiving a report of a “man down.” On arrival, the officers found a male victim lying on the ground with “massive trauma to the body.”
The officers immediately requested medical assistance. Emergency responders transported the injured man to the Jersey City Medical Center, where he underwent surgery and was listed in stable condition, authorities said.

After investigating the scene, officers determined that the man locked himself in the bedroom of a relative’s apartment, police said.
“It is unknown at this time whether the victim fell or jumped out the window but we do not suspect foul play,” a Hoboken police spokesman stated.
