Hoboken Police: N.J. Woman Falls From Balcony, Hospitalized With Critical Injuries

HOBOKEN, NJ — A 21-year-old woman is in critical condition after falling from a balcony in Marine View Plaza on Sunday, Hoboken police say.

Hoboken police received a call around 2:20 p.m. about a female who reportedly fell from a balcony in the area. When officers arrived on the scene, they found an unconscious female on the ground, authorities said.

Officers immediately requested medical assistance to treat the victim’s injuries, which were “substantial,” police stated.

Emergency responders transported the woman to a local trauma center where she was listed in critical condition, police said.

A preliminary investigation has ruled out foul play and mechanical/structural issues as a contributing factor, police stated.
