Blue Angel Navy Jets Do Flyover Near Hudson River (VIDEOS)

Here's what to say if people tell you they saw fighter jets over the Hudson River on Thursday morning.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — U.S. Navy Blue Angel pilots performed a flyover near the Hudson River on Thursday (see videos of the flyover below).

The Bayonne Office of Emergency Management issued the following advisory in advance of the flyover on Wednesday:

“On Thursday (5/24) at approximately 8:45 a.m., six US Navy F/A-18 Jets will perform a flyover of our waterfront area. These jets are expected to enter our area near the Verrazano and fly up the Hudson River to the Tappan Zee.”

New York City public safety officials also issued an advisory about the flyover:

"Planned Flyover: Tomorrow, 5/24 at 8:45 a.m., six U.S Navy Blue Angel F/A-18 jets will fly over the Hudson River, north to the Tappan Zee Bridge and then to LaGuardia Airport."
