SchoolPlus Hudson was started by a local mom who felt there was a void in what was being offered in the schools in the Hudson County, according to the press release. After sending her son to a SchoolPlus location in Manhattan she realized it was something that could benefit the local area close to her Hoboken home.
The school also offers a summer program, has plans on launching an adult chess class and will be holding a children's chess tournament later this year.
