New Chicken Joint Opens On Hoboken's Main Drag
A chicken chain has replaced a Korean eatery on Hoboken's main street. See what the owner has to say.

HOBOKEN, NJ — After soft opening on New Year's Eve, the Hoboken Wingstop franchise is hoping to reach new customers, said manager Raj Patel.
The slender restaurant as taken over the space right in the middle of Washington Street that formerly held Kong Dog, a Korean hot dog spot.
Patel said he knows that some Hoboken residents may already be familiar with the international brand. For those who are not, "We would love it if you'd give us a chance and come in," he said.

The national chain opened in Texas in 1994 and has more than 2,500 locations worldwide. The Hoboken location is open from 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. every day, Patel said.
The Hoboken store has a variety of wings and sauces on its menu, including hot honey, Saucy Sriracha, and Sweet and Garlic. They also sell chicken sandwiches, tenders, sides like French fries, and desserts.

"We bring the flavor," Patel said.
Wingstop is located at 502 Washington St.
