New Supermarket For Hoboken: Sprove Market Will Replace Downtown Kings
Spring signage has sprung for a Sprove supermarket. It's coming soon to Hoboken.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Signage has appeared on River Street in Hoboken for a new supermarket to replace the dearly departed downtown Kings — and residents of mile-square Hoboken are so excited, they're even snapping photos.
The downtown Kings market closed in December 2020, while the uptown branch remains open.
Sprove Market already has a site at 70 Christopher Columbus Drive in Jersey City. Besides the usual groceries, they offer organic produce and coffee, sushi, a juice bar, a salad bar, and a hot and cold buffet.

They also sell liquor.
