JERSEY CITY, NJ — The existing Target superstore in the Newport section of Jersey City is about to get a sister store across town.

NJ.com reported on Friday that the Jersey City Planning Board, at their virtual meeting on Tuesday, approved plans for a 119,000 square foot store, with 515 parking spots, to take over a spot formerly anchored by Kmart.

The new store will open at 381 Route 440, but a timeline hasn't been given yet. Find out more here.
