HOBOKEN, NJ — The Hoboken school board met Monday night to decide a number of issues before schools reopen on Sept. 8.

Among the items, Andrea Della Fave was up for appointment as the new vice principal of Brandt Middle School. A number of other principal changes and switches already occurred at the previous meeting (read about the last board meeting here).

Della Fave was honored last year as Italian-American educator of the year.

The board also approved a revised Hoboken 2022-2023 school calendar. Don't worry, parents; school still starts on Sept. 8.

The new calendar adds Monday, Jan. 2 as a day off and moves the last day of school from June 21 to June 22 (both are half days). Always consult the most up-to-date calendar on the district website before making final plans.
