Nibble On Some Fancy Gouda At Hoboken Cheese Tasting Events

HOBOKEN, NJ — Got a hankering for some fancy cheese? Old Amsterdam will host two cheese sampling events in Hoboken on Aug. 16.

According to a news release from the company:

“For the first time, Old Amsterdam has embarked on a grassroots sampling tour throughout the Northeast to offer locals the chance to taste award-winning Old Amsterdam gouda, making stops in Hoboken at two grocery stores on Thursday, August 16. Old Amsterdam is third-generation family-owned, with a secret recipe for a mature, smooth Gouda distinguished from all others. Between its fine ripening crystals, savory flavor with hints of sweetness, and unique history, you won’t forget the first time you taste Old Amsterdam.”

Here are the locations and times of the two Old Amsterdam tasting events happening in Hoboken on August 16:

• King’s Food Markets, 1212 Shipyard Lane; Time: 11 am. to 1 p.m.
• King’s Food Markets, 325 River Street; Time: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
