UPDATE: Hoboken Issues Advisory About Possible Flooding, Wind Gusts
Heavy rain and wind gusts as high as 40 MPH are predicted for Hudson County through Tuesday.

HOBOKEN, NJ — As a nor'easter impacts the area north of Hudson County on Tuesday, a "significant coastal storm" will continue to bring high winds and rain to Hoboken and Jersey City.
Forecasters expect rain throughout Tuesday, with wind gusts up to 40 MPH.

The city of Hoboken said on Monday:
"The Office of Emergency Management encourages residents to exercise caution as any intense rainfall of greater than 0.8 inch per hour could result in flooding in low-lying areas ... The Office of Emergency Management is posting “No Parking Signs” in low-lying, flood-prone intersections, which should be taken as advisories. Please report flooded intersections and clogged drain inlets by calling the NHSA Hotline at (866) 689-3970.

"Wind gusts of up to 35 miles per hour are predicted on Tuesday, March 14. Residents should secure loose objects outside or bring them inside, especially off balconies. Outdoor tents should be taken down depending on wind load.Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines."

"There is still some uncertainty at this point to the exact track the storm will take and how much cooling occurs after the precipitation begins," the NWS New York Office said.
Accuweather noted, "The storm has the potential to strengthen so fast from Monday to Tuesday that it could undergo what forecasters call "bombogenesis" or become a "bomb cyclone."
