HOBOKEN, NJ — The Hoboken police charged a 30-year-old New York City man with robbery and terroristic threats on Friday after, they say, he gave a note to a bank teller demanding money that morning.

Police say that the Hoboken Police Department received information from the Jersey City Police Department about a bank robbery near the border, at TD Bank at 47 Newark St. The bank is also a block from the Hoboken train station.

Someone told the police that a man entered the bank, handed the teller a note, and demanded money be placed in a bag. He then demanded the same of two other tellers, police say.
