She joins a small group of Hudson County students recognized statewide, continuing a recent streak of Hoboken High semifinalists who have gone on to elite universities.
   

2. First Hoboken Restaurant Week Planned With Special Meals And Deals (patch.com) — Food lovers in Hoboken can look forward to the city's first-ever Restaurant Week this November, featuring prix fixe menus, exclusive specials, and limited-edition dishes across town. Organized by the Hoboken Business Alliance, the event aims to spotlight local restaurants, cafes, and bars, all within easy walking distance of the Hoboken Train Terminal.
   

3. These 5 New Restaurants Opened In Northern NJ In August (patch.com) — Food lovers in Hoboken have several new spots to check out, including Sober Shot's grab-and-go drink bar on Washington Street and the Colonia Grill food truck that still serves the city. The roundup also notes how Hoboken and Jersey City coffee shops, like Forum Coffee, continue expanding across North Jersey, giving locals more options for creative lattes and specialty beverages.

North Jersey Farms Offer Hayrides and Fall Activities Within Reach of Hudson County (hudsonreporter.com) — Families in Hoboken and Jersey City can reach several North Jersey farms offering hayrides, pumpkin patches, and corn mazes within about a 30- to 45-minute drive. Spots like Abma's Farm, Demarest Farms, Secor Farms, and Alstede Farms all require advance tickets for fall activity packages, so residents are urged to plan ahead, confirm hours, and check weather policies before heading out.
   

5. DoorDash & Hudson chamber of commerce hosting free local business workshop (hudsoncountyview.com) — Hoboken small business owners can sign up now for a free September 16 workshop from DoorDash and the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce, offering training on delivery tools, AI features, and marketing. Eligible Hoboken and Jersey City businesses must be independently owned, have a brick-and-mortar storefront, and no more than three locations.
