4. 1300 Jefferson Street Breaks Ground in Hoboken, New Jersey (newyorkyimby.com) — A major new 18-story residential tower has broken ground at 1300 Jefferson Street on Hoboken's northern edge, bringing 357 rentals, a large garage, and 24,000 square feet of retail. The project includes 35 affordable units, with 17 planned for veterans at a new building by American Legion Post 107, plus rooftop amenities and a new public plaza for neighbors to enjoy.
   

5. Hudson Tunnel Project Begins Boring New Rail Tunnel (hobokengirl.com) — Work has begun on boring the new Hudson rail tunnel, with machines now digging from North Bergen toward an access shaft on the Weehawken–Hoboken border. While completion is years away, the project promises more reliable NJ Transit and Amtrak service for Hoboken-area commuters who depend on the busy Northeast Corridor into Manhattan.
