Port Authority Police Officers Earn 2018 ‘Top Cop’ Award
The officers were honored for "extraordinary bravery in arresting a suspected terrorist at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in December."
The National Association of Police Organizations honored several Port Authority officers with their 2018 Top Cops Award earlier this week.
According to the Port Authority of NY/NJ, the award - the highest honor given by the association – was presented to the officers for their “extraordinary bravery in arresting a suspected terrorist at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in December.”
The honored officers included: Port Authority Police Department Lt. Miriam Rubio, Sgt. Hector Martinez, Sgt. Victor Talamini, P.O. Jack Collins, P.O. Anthony Estevez., P.O. Gallagher, P.O. Anthony Manfredini and P.O. Drew Preston.
