99. I have hit 99.
Not that there's a magic number or anything, I'm sure 99 is fine. But there's something about the number 100 that gives you hope. Perhaps it's the comforting roundness of it's zeros, or the fact that it's the first three digit positive number. Or that it IS a positive number.
all I know is that 99 makes me nervous. What if it went back a step or two, and became 98, or worse-97?Â
Still, it's another step to reach for, another goal to attain. It could happen at any time, and when it does, darn it-I'll be ready!
