Purple Cookie Honors Women’s History In Hoboken, Jersey City
A bakery with locations in Hoboken and Jersey City is offering a special purple cookie as part of the "Empower Through Flour" campaign.

HOBOKEN, NJ — In honor of Women’s History Month, a bakery with locations in Hoboken and Jersey City will be teaming up with other pastry chefs across the nation as part of the “Empower Through Flour” campaign.
According to a company news release, throughout the month of March, Choc O Pain French Bakery will be offering patrons a special chocolate cookie with purple ganache, a natural coloring. The bakery will donate 30 percent of the proceeds from sales to support I Am That Girl, a nonprofit that provides development opportunities for high school and college students across the U.S.
“As the owner of Choc O Pain French Bakery and Café, I am proud to be participating in the Empower Through Flour nationwide charity promotion alongside my fellow female industry colleagues during Women's History Month,” said Clemence Danko.

“Our team is 100% behind supporting I Am That Girl’s efforts to further the leadership, social and personal development of female high school and college students,” Danko added.
