Forecast Forces Frank Sinatra Impersonators Indoors For Hoboken Event

HOBOKEN, NJ — They're doing it their way, but not as close to the Hoboken waterfront.

Due to the weather forecast, the annual My Way Sinatra Sing-off, held each year in Hoboken, will be held inside at 6:30 p.m. in the Bissinger Room of the Stevens Institute of Technology's Howe Center, 1 Castle Point Terrace.

Space is limited. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m.

Twelve contestants from all over the world will compete for the title of Best Sinatra Style Singer by singing their favorite Frank Sinatra tune in his hometown, the city said.

A panel of five judges will determine the winner of prizes donated by Hoboken businesses.

If you are unable to attend in person, the Hoboken Historical Museum will be live-streaming the event on their YouTube channel here.

The contest, created by the City’s Division of Cultural Affairs, is sponsored in part by Blue Eyes Restaurant, Burgiss, Carlo's Bakery, Colavita, Ironstate, Jack Daniels, Muller Insurance, The Rockefeller Group, Veolia, and Wonder Lofts. The program is also made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of The National Endowment for the Arts, administered by The Hudson County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, Thomas A. DeGise, County Executive, and the Board of County Commissioners.
