Rotary to Host Annual Spelling Bee
The third annual spelling bee will take place on November 10.

The Rotary Club of Hoboken will host its third annual school spelling bee on Thursday, November 10 at 7pm. The event will take place at the Hoboken Catholic Academy on 7th Street.
The spelling bee will include winning students from preliminary spelling bees held in the 4th grade classes at Calabro, Connors, Hoboken Catholic, Hoboken Charter, Mustard Seed and Stevens and Wallace elementary schools.
Last year Jared Lazar of the Hoboken Charter School, Michelle Tu of Wallace Elementary and Luca Conetta of Stevens Cooperative School were the first, second and third place winners. For that they each received gift certificates to bookstore Barnes & Noble donated by the law firm of LoPiano, Kenny & Stinson.
