Shelter-In-Place Order Lifted For 3 Hoboken Schools: Police
A burglary investigation prompted Hoboken police to ask 3 schools to shelter in place, but the order has been lifted, police said.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Less than an hour after a shelter-in-place order was given for three schools in central Hoboken due to police activity in the neighborhood, the order has been lifted, police said on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the order was given because of a burglary investigation.

Earlier, police asked residents to avoid one square block in the center of town for the time being.
